fuel pump delete on XV1100, need second gen 750 tank

PostAuthor: Tommy P. » Wed Jun 23, 2021 6:22 pm

I am interested in a second generation XV750 tank. I want to do away with the fuel pump and aux tank and want a good non rusty 750 tank with the petcock. This is to modify a 97 1100.
Thanks,
Tom

Jake, I think I will pass on this one. I want to hold out for one that doesn't need work. I may be reaching for an impossible dream wanting a really nice used tank. I may just have to settle for modifying my stock one. Thanks for the reply.

Good luck.

I’m going to clean out the rust and post to Ebay.

I've got a near perfect tank from a 1994 XV750 available.

Polkahero » Where would you be shipping from and do you have any idea of the shipping costs to Port Orchard, Wa.? Also, what do you want for the tank?
Thanks,
Tom

I'm in Michigan, shipping will probably be around $80. I'm asking $200 for the tank. If you want to see pics, send me a PM or email me.
