That is an EXCELLENT looking trike XVTRIKE has going together...........so much so, that i'm tinkering with the idear of doing my rago up in trike form!
But, like Matthew said, what gear ratio would you run in the rearend?
Personally, i'm leaning towards using like an S-10 rearend..........not to wide and easy to come by. Only question is, what gearing?
Anywhos, i PM'd XVTRIKE (tried to e-mail, but got the "user wishes not to receive e-mail at this time" error) and hopefully he'll get the PM and post an update. If not, i'll let you all know what he has to say, if anything

Hey Matt.........you start converting yours yet?
Waiting on a swingarm for mine, but once it's here i'll be starting mine
Just curious if off-setting the rear dif is actually needed.......i know the driveshaft would be "cocked" without the offset, but thinking it should work...........should being the keyword here LOL

Any ideas on how to get the reverse gearing?
I've seen a mod for the xv1100 but as per usual with so many stupid websites nowadays - no price - how useful (if i can find the link i'll update it).
Alot of the chain driven trikes fitted with reverse use a starter motor for short bursts or reverse (reverse mostly fitted on disabled trikers tricycles)
I'm considering fitting an inline gearbox (again what box?) - which would give me 5 reverse's
Your thoughts are welcomed
