Re: XV750 TRIKE![]() but with a 750 bike engine instead - doubling the power output and giving about 160bhp per tonne I'm just curious on how the disabled ppl get around on a trike - how the reverse works etc i've seen the klicktronic gear shifter system - may take advantage of that myself...
Re: XV750 TRIKE![]() from the looks of things its electronically controlled, as i cant see any levers sticking out etc Should be able to make one for about £100 including materials I'll be back when i've started buildin (i'll have a website etc) for the moment i'm just planning things out to reduce problems at the plan stage of things Spank ya later ![]() ![]() Last edited by SkUG on Mon Mar 13, 2006 8:44 am, edited 1 time in total.

Re: XV750 TRIKELittle concerned about that shield in front of the engine. It is an air cooled engine.Maybe the prop blasts enough back there.
What used to be 81 xv750(only thing stock is mtr&frm)Did all work myself, welding, paint,&airbrush

I'll admit I don't know crap about planes, I would think that the prop would supply lots of airflow. Wonder if he speed shifts through the gears on the runway. ( probably not needed, just trying to picture it)

forget that, what about the poor oilin system?
What about carbs n fuel? I guess if you do just straight level flying........... But know that these planes were built n sold by a real company. I know they had to pass some special FAA rules n wonder how they did it?

Re: XV750 TRIKEHi Guys...
Well.... he posted on the 2cd of April 2006, so either he got the trike "up to snuff" and then it took him to that big "bike Rally in the sky", or he forgot his password again,,, or he's just plain not interested in us anymore !! However, I just picked up the tail end here, not expecting XVTrike1 to answer since its been such a long time, hoping however that others may also have done similar conversions ( with pics ) which could prove interesting to all of us. Despite that, I do hope that XVTRIKE is still with us and amongst the living, and maybe he'll see this and jump in once again ! Best regards all...............// Ernie in NH Ernie Duncan, Bristol NH
