Douglas Adams computer game

PostAuthor: ANDYWXV700 » Sun Apr 24, 2011 4:47 am

It seems there used to be an area for discussions about computer stuff, but I can't seem to find it.
I just found out that the Late Great Douglas Adams had a computer game made of his book The Starship Titanic. I can buy it on Ebay but it is so old that its runs on Windows 95. Does any body know if something that old can be made to run on windows 7? Maybe with some kind of an emulator?

I moved it to "Gaming" for you.

You could try installing Win 95 to Virtual Box and run the game inside that. I've used VB to test run Linux distros and did lots of software and game installs to the test OS.

dosbox is also a good one.
have bought some old games from gog.com and they come pre setup with it, so that they will run on anything.

DOSBox works with my old games. Played "Return to Zork" from infosoft today using it. Was written for windoze 95. DOSBox ran it just fine on my Windoze 7 x64 computer.
