2 stock seats Virago free

PostAuthor: packman » Wed Oct 16, 2019 5:07 am

I have 2 stock seats, one is off a 1986 XV700 and one off a 1993 XV750 free if anybody wants them. The 86 seat is in good shape, the 93 seat is like new. too big to ship, but I need to get rid of them. I live in Murphy, NC.

All you need is a big enough box. Let the one that wants a seat, pay for shipping. $30 or $40 is not too much if someone needs a seat.

I recently thought I had my Mustang seat sold. Shipping costs from Florida to PA were $130 the cheapest way I could find. Included packing and insurance. So the actual shipping costs were about $95. Believe it or not, that was UPS.

I have the box my Mustang came in, but haven't dug it out of the loft of my shed yet to measure. Just off the top of my head, I estimate the weight at 10 lbs, 24 inches long, 12 inches high and 12 inches wide.

Based upon those calculations, the cost from here to St. Cloud FL via USPS Retail Ground, with Insurance ( $4.60 for $300 ) the total is estimated to be $28.22 ( from USPS web site ). That's below my estimate earlier for $30 or $40.

I never found UPS to be the cheapest for anything.
