Indicators not working at all

PostAuthor: aralph » Wed Dec 05, 2018 4:05 am

Hi

Been working on my buddy's bikefor a while now an the only thing we need
to get it back on the road again is for the indicators to work.

I'm am stuck at this point with the little electrical knowledge i have.
All the indicator power wires are getting power ( although i'm not sure how much
they should be getting) and all the grounds are fine. I have tested all the indicators
on a separate battery and they are working just fine. The indicator switch is also
working normally. Its a 1994 Yamaha Virago 535 ( in Australia).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. :horse:

First thing needing to know...are they still stock/OEM turn signals? Or did you convert to LED? If so you'll have to go with individual load capacitors per bulb. Or change out the flasher for LED.

Have tried both stock and LED indicators and neither are working.

If you have power to the indicators, then I would suspect the flasher isn’t working.
