Special thanks to a couple membersSo I bought an old Virago and sold my 2017 SCR950 that worked flawlessly, ready to tackle my new project even though I never worked on a bike before (I just love the Virago look and it's got more character).
It's been harder than I expected lol, but I think I'm on my way to a success with this bike thanks to the members here that have helped me on mulitple posts. Special shoutouts to: Mark75 - FlyingDog - Jake Hope I'm not abusing of everyone's kindness, because I plan to keep on posting lol. If someone could tell me how to attach a picture from my computer I could show you what the bike looks like at the moment!
Re: Special thanks to a couple membersWhen you're ready to submit a post, right under the "Preview/Submit" buttons you'll see where to upload/browse files/submit photos. Will take you to your picture files.
Far as shout-outs go..while everyone likes accolades and much appreciated (meaning: glad it helped), something like this forum, as you pointed out, is made up of the many who try to, right or wrong and in-between, help out in someway. ![]() You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Re: Special thanks to a couple membersGreat, here's the test of attaching a picture of my partially finished Virago then! May not seem like much but very happy with it so far.

Re: Special thanks to a couple membersYea..nice. Nice choice with the bars. Eliminates that funky pull-back and exaggerated end drop Viragos are famous for. IMO: Those rear signals would look nice on the front, too.
Re: Special thanks to a couple membersThanks guys, yes I am happy with how the handlebars turned out. I actually have two more of the turn signals so I've been thinking about changing the front ones, but my aftermarket don't have running light, and since the wattage is lower on the aftermarket ones (only 10W), I fear it's going to make everything flash too quickly, the rears already flash quicker than I would like but still OK. I might test it out sometime...
Re: Special thanks to a couple members
Something like this should take care of that rapid flash'n.---> https://www.ebay.com/itm/12V-2Pin-Orang ... 100623.m-1 Or if ya get bored you could go the individual load resistor route--> As an example: https://www.kapscomoto.com/ca/led-bulb- ... d-fix.html https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinf ... g-fix/190/
