MAC 2-1 Fitment Issue

PostAuthor: RedEightFive » Mon Apr 17, 2017 3:07 pm

I was wondering if anyone has had fitment issues installing the MAC 2-1 kit from Niche Cycle Supply?

I've seen this kit used on other peoples builds but when I installed mine the pipe off of the rear cylinder has a hairs width of clearance over top of the swing arm. I'm worried about the swing arm moving up and damaging the exhaust when hitting a bump.

If someone has installed this same kit on their bike could you post a picture showing the clearance of the pipe through the swing arm?

Mine's been on and off a few times. You need to "fiddle" with it to get a nice, centered fit. The swing won't hit it, unless you're totally off center.

Keep in mind it's a really cheap, POS system. It's no Akrapovic or Arrow Ti system.
