Yamaha XV1000 Midnight Special Tank Colour

Hi Guys
Newbie here
I'm trying to find the colour code for my 1983 Yamaha XV1000 Midnight Special which looks like a black pearl colour

I have searched the forum and checked out a number of colour charts with no luck

Can anybody help please ?

XV1000 was not produced until the '84 model year. I believe the color was black pearl.

Is this the "1983" you got?:

If so..I "think" it's called Black Metallic X (Raven). Don't hold me to it, though.

Yeah that's the bike I have correct it is 1984 not 83

I later found the correct code on the forum
It's NEW YAMAHA BLACK 006G

Ah good.. you got it figured out.
That pic "is" an 83' (XV1000M). More towards the TR1, w/mono shock and chain drive. Personally, I don't keep too much track of that stuff. Other than it wasn't for the US market.
