Petcock - XV500K and XV750

PostAuthor: sbrbot » Mon Jun 17, 2019 2:47 am

Is there any difference between XV500K (1983) and XV750 petcocks?

Can I use XV750's petcock on XV500K?

Yes, there is. The part number is different, the 750 petcock is vacuum operated.
Here's the part numbers: https://www.partzilla.com/product/yamah ... a9fe76be80

I know these petcocks do have different part numbers (XV500K petcock = 22U-24500-01-00, XV750 petcock = 3AL-24500-00-00) but from pictures I cannot see if they are interchangeable. But, ok, you said they were NOT!
