Resurrection. Hopefully

What I know so far:
The engine is seized
The rear wheel won't turn
Carb linkages are seized
The spark plugs are seized. I hate autolites sooooooo much.

So far, it's been spraying the plugs with rust penetrant, and wiggling them.

Well.... I also know some of the electricals work.

. . Hey Buddy . . I had one similar . .
. . just a couple o-v thoughts . . .
The back wheel . . . can you get it in neutral . . . if not side cover off . .
spray wd40 all over the shift fork there . . . plenty work it gently . .
the plugs . . . you'll get 'em both . . . be patient . . . wd40 and oil down them jugs.
seems to me trany fluid is a good ring braker . to get those pistons moving . . .
drain the old oil and put fresh in as the new oil helps to get things right . .
. . . keep us posted .

Not sure it's worth it, but I think I'm going to start getting engine parts off of eBay.
I have got to free up some space and time though.

Being that it's a 500 and only one year, I'd remove what's good, sell on Ebay and buy something worth putting time and money in.

Sometimes, violence is the answer.
Rear plug is out. Cylinders soaking.
I got the rear wheel turning (Brake was seized)
Got the trans to at least shift 1-n-2
Clutch freed up.

Well gents........i got the sucker to turn over. First a half turn, then more and more. Now it spins. WOOT!!!
But......WTF
It will sit there and throw sparks to the plugs with no input. No cranking. Just sitting there with the key on.
Anyone familiar?
