Brake cable rubber gaiter repair

PostAuthor: GrahamH » Mon Nov 25, 2019 9:15 am

On my XV535 the small diameter rubber gaiter on the brake cable was split, otherwise the cable was fine. To fix it I threaded a tube of electrical heat shrink over the gaiter then a quick blast with a paint stripper heat gun and it is as good as new. Made my day!
