Draining the oil bottlesI wish I had known of this many years ago when I did all of my own oil changes, these days the only ones I do myself are my truck ( easy to get under ) and my bike.
What I used to do was empty the oil bottle by propping it up over top of another and draining the remaining oil over a several hours. I then used the oil I collected for various purposes.
