Re: Got carb tuning problems , peep thisIdle and low speed jetting was lean from the factory to meet EPA limits. Even a stock bike worked better with the pilot screws turned out a turn or so from the factory setting.So any thing that causes it to run even a little leaner is going to be an issue if you don't compensate at least with the pilot screws. If they are tuned out 1.5 - 2 turns from stock and it still stumbles or backfires thru the carb when you give it gas - then it is time to go a step richer on the idle jets. Drilling the baffles will not require a change to main jets or needles in all likelihood.
