Kawasaki W800 Special Edition

PostAuthor: jonno51 » Wed Feb 13, 2019 3:47 pm

I'm taking the 1100 off the road until spring 2020 for an engine out stripdown and overhaul, including painting the block/barrels/heads.

To give me something to ride until then, I bought this today. The special editions hold their prices very well because they are rare even over here, so I should get most of my money back next year.

I've put the picture up because I know Kawasaki didn't import the W800 into the US, so I thought it might be of interest.

773 cc, parallel twin, SOHC, and the cam is driven by a bevel gear. A handsome bike IMHO.
