Can Virago 750 Rear Wheels Be Swapped?

PostAuthor: 1tommeym » Wed Jan 06, 2021 2:04 pm

I am looking to change the swirl rear wheel on my 81 virago 750 for the newer 'star' wheel from the 750 virago?

I would imagine it is a simple plug and play swap so long as I have the larger brake housing part.

Any help would be appreciated.

You also need the axle IIRC. Also, the wheel will sit 20 mm offset to the right and hence will not line up with your seat and rear fender perfectly. In addition, you will have to partially remove the final drive to remove/fit the rear wheel every time it comes off. Otherwise it is plug and play.
