PostAuthor: tech712 » Tue Mar 05, 2019 6:11 pm

HI: I am looking for info on a bike frame I have recently bought. The serial # is JYA42J003EA002336. If you can tell me anything about this frame (year - engine ) I would really like to hear about it . I have checked several sites and have found no info on this frame number. Thanks for any help you can provide. :search2: :thanks:

You have photos in your album, so you know how to add there, just upload to your VTF album.

I’ll post it on the thread and delete from your album if you wish.

I got the photos you emailed me.

1st of all, you made a slight error in the VIN, you gave the last digit as a 6, it is an 8.

I used three different sources, to get the full results. Here is what I found:

I had to look at the data base I have to match frame numbers with 42J, although the data base in itself has all of the info except the city. My database also says it was sold in the US, it may be wrong, or not, since you live in Canada.

Thank you for this info.I was unable to find any as every site I tried said the serial # was not given to them properly and the 5th and 6th digits where not correct. Thanks again Jake.
