I know this seems to be a 2 year old post but need to comment on it anyway:
"More than a few times, I have copied the CD I paid for and given it away. This however isn't a violation because the people that got them got an exact copy and could not or would not have been able to afford to purchase one on their own. To limit the chances of any liability on my part, I didn't even ask for the cost of the CD or the jewel case I ship them in, or the postage. That way I have made 0 profit and cannot be charrged wit a violation on copyright or anything else like restraint of trade, etc. "
This is a common assumption by the "masses", (for want of a better word). The owner of a copyright retains the right to copy and disseminate her/his/their work and this means what is says. You are in violation of copyright law when or if you copy a cd and hand it to Joe Stumblebum on the street corner with a tin cup who ain't got a pot tuh p!$$ in but loves that kinda CD ya handed him and ya said "Happy Xmas buddy!".
Point is, regardless of your intent. Or your monetary reward or lack thereof... legal law sez it ain't right. Not to imply I am to any degree an angel... sheeeyit. But cover yo @$$. and don't publicize the fact you physically disseminated copyrighted works. Free or otherwise.
Aloha from Hawaii!

I am posting this link courtesy of Primo Kimo. I showed him where to get some manuals and he returned some info that I suggested he post here.

For whatever reasons, he told me to do it, so here it is http://www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle-manuals.asp .

Thanks

This is a good file, it has the Clymer, and the Haynes manuals for 535 thru 1100, plus it also has a service manual for XV250G and GC.

The downside for those that have dial-up, is that is 155MB, but you can get them all at one stop.

If you would have paid attention to the link I posted and that you replied to ( this one ) you would've found that I posted a source for the Yamaha Factory Service Manual. Two posts up from yours here, I tell you what is in the link MyStylesTheBomb posted.

This one still works, http://www.sendspace.com/file/f6ltpt if the other doesn't. It contains the Clymer, and the Haynes manuals for 535 thru 1100, plus it also has a service manual for XV250G and GC.

If that file is too big for you and if mark75 can't help you, PM me and I can
