Thanks for letting everyone know, Matt

If anyone has suggestions, or they see something wrong that needs to be fixed, or even has a question they'ed like me to look up the answer for and include, either email me from the link in the FAQ or on my web site, or PM me here in Virago Tech. I want to hear from you.

An old friend, Flaash (or Fast Virago) already contacted me to add some little known facts about fuel tank interchangeabilty on Viragos of all sizes from 84 to the last year. It was good hearing from him, but it was a bummer to find out he's completely out of the bike biz and doesn't do cams anymore. That's about all I'll need after the rejt on the carbs of the chopper to make her scream like lightning. :burnout:

Oh well - can't have everything, now, can I

Very happy to see this. Thanks for taking the time. I was thinking about this. There is a lot of info here but it is getting scattered and we need a central location. Good job!

"It's ready for just about any sort of on-roading, and, best of all, in the process it can get the rider emotionally charged without ever needing to drag a peg or peg a redline. The Virago is a custom style bike with a wide range of capabilities. There is something very special that relentlessly compels you to just get on and ride- somewhere, anywhere

Yeah, nice one bykrmom. Great idea. I look forward to seeing it develop further. I need as much help as anyone can give and I'm sure there are more like me out there who will appreciate what you've done.

Also nice to see my 'Heat Sheilds?' question. Guess it wasn't as daft as I thought.

FAQ by bykrmom

PostAuthor: SOJRNR » Thu Nov 11, 2004 12:40 pm

ECHO...ECHO... ECHO...ECHO...ECHO

Like I said in the forum I'm milking for info on tanks, forks, brakes, and whatever else plans to rear its head on this project, awesome job on the FAQ, bykrmom!

(And I really like the mini-light you did on the bars!)
THANKS!

I could really use more input on th FAQ from experienced wrenches or log-time Virago owners. You Virago nuts that have done mods, or changed things to make your old XV run - get something written up and email me!

A very good FAQ, but entry 59 (the one I need right now) seems to be missing. It is the entry on starter solenoid options.

I'm already bookmarking entries for upcoming repairs on the bike. Great work.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. You're helping generations of riders and wrench turners :bg:
