Dual 40mm PWK Air Strikers

PostAuthor: Hollywoodmx » Tue Aug 18, 2020 1:43 pm

Got them in and they fit! throttle cables might have bit of a time.. Excuse the 42mm boots, my one RH has FCR's and the pwks are for my other 920RH because dual FCR's is a pain in the @$$. The stock boots fit the carbs fine.

Well it looks like the pwk32 twin throttle for xs650 should fit. I'll order that up.

Does the throttle cable enter the top of the carb to pull the slide?

Ok I got it running. Fuel lines are kind of tricky. I can actuate both chokes and the idle and air screws face each other... so thats a fail as they turn into each other. Not sure how much a few elbows might effect fueling to get a bit more access.

It was shooting flames as I expected it to be rich, the came with cr500 jetting. 160 mains, 55 pilots and an unknown needle.

XS650 guys are running on pwk 34's;

JJM jet needles
Needle clip in #3 position
#40 slow jet
Air screws 1 turn out
#125 main jets

I bet I need the same or close to the 650 guys cause I'm probably pulling more vacuum, this bike has the street cams too when making tuning more of a pain.
