Why not PWK duals over the the TM38's?

Just seeing why no one is going dual PWK's?

Keihin is a better carb, the castings are way higher quality, the carb body is smaller, the carb engineering is better and can be found for cheaper. Ya its a 2t carb bu so is the tm38..

As I was one of the first to play around with these... the answer is simple: I ain't a Keihin guy. And overhere* they are about 4-5 times as expensive as Mikunis as the importer runs a very "interesting" sales strategy.

Wow, you are not kidding. I just looked them up in a local shop here and a single 38 PWK is almost 600 EUR. It was cheaper to buy two mikunis from the US, even when paying import taxes.

That's the other thing, so far after ordering at least 5 or 6 sets up to now, I only paid import taxes once. All the other times it went through smoothly.
