1987 xv535 rat bagger in process

PostAuthor: Code-_-fury » Wed Mar 07, 2018 11:45 pm

Hey everyone. First post. I have a 1987 xv535 that I am currently rebuilding. I am in the process of scrapping the oem dual carbs and installing a mikuni vm30 single carb with a #140 main jet. ( just my starting point for jetting ) I'm about three days out from getting my manifold and having it installed and ready for a try. But figured if ask if anyone has any suggestions before I get the manifold on and fluids pumping. Won't let me ad photos due to pixels.
Stay thirsty my friends.

The mikuni carb was an eBay purchase aswell as the manifold.

Everything is working well right now. I just search 2 into 1 manifold for my motor and bam. Think I spent about 250 in total.
