How do I remove the TM40 jet needle ?

PostAuthor: mr vroom » Mon Mar 20, 2017 4:06 pm

About to mount a new TM40-6, but believe I need to lower the needle clip to its lowest level. Already changed the main jet
( courtesy of you tube) but cant find instructions to remove the needle.

Do I remove the philips screw pictured? Or anyone know of a link to basic directions? The Mikuni tuning manual didnt help me...

Thanks

The needle jet should either have a retaining clip holding it in the slide or be held in by a small bracket thats held in by screws inside the slide itself. Looks like you removed the slide already?
