soda blaster

PostAuthor: juro12 » Thu Jul 04, 2019 10:59 am

anyone use a soda blaster to clean aluminum parts? I want a like-new appearance for hard-to-clean areas like cooling fins.

too bad an air compressor is needed. mine builds up to only twenty PSI. :ops:

I haven't used an H-F one, but my DIY soda-blaster did a good job of cleaning sans the concern for HP water getting into the wrong places.

soda blasting is sorta like power-washing your sidewalk - it can (may) make a very noticeable difference. (obviously less harsh than sand-blasting, tho it's nearly as effective)

even though the soda is water soluble, care should still be used with where it's going.
