Accel 140408BK SuperCoil less expensive alternative

PostAuthor: wkdenton » Mon Nov 16, 2015 5:36 pm

I may have found a less expensive (by >50%) alternative on Amazon.com to the Accel SuperCoil 140408.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00II6 ... 1_1&sr=8-1

Other than the Accel label, it looks to be identical in dimension and external appearance to the 140408BK. It's also claimed to be "made in the USA" FWIW. Just wondering if there's any VTF experience out there with this unit? Pls advise if yes, otherwise I'll just order one and roll the dice.

TIA...

Dan, thanks for the wiring advice.

Has anyone ever purchased and installed one of these Accel SuperCoil clones? I'm suspecting that is is manufactured by the same supplier that Accel uses, but would like verification of its build quality from someone who has already bought and installed one, if possible.
