Thanks for the parts manual, very useful!
Also found this website:

Which is handy as it shows you what other bikes use that part too (if any.)

How much louder did you find the pod filters? I just got the XV running with the twin carbs using small foam filters on top of the carbs and man it roars!! Barely hear the exhaust now haha

jeez really, that loud?! i can hear the butterfly valves click over a few minutes after it gets warm in the mornings, and yeh a bit of sucking noise occasionally, but not too much noise really. saying that, my shorty reverse cone cans are a pinch obnoxious (ive repacked with muffler packing too!) so cant hear too much else anyway!

Hahahahah yup this thing really roars especially once you get past 6K RPM! I really need to get some vids of this sleeper.

What sort of fuel economy are you getting out of yours? I'm doing around 240ks on 7L at the moment using XV needles in the carbs and #120 main jets

im on i THINK #115 or #117.5 mains (drilled them), and have no tacho so dont even know the redline... dont suppose you know what the red is supposed to be? in guessing 7k? im putting a digi tacho on soon, need to set it..

i get around 28-35km/L, depending on how i ride and if its city or freeway riding. sounds similar to yours. freeway sucks the juice bigtime though

vids are a good idea!

These things will rev to around 10000RPM and start to valve bounce 500 or so RPM after that. They make descent power to around 9500RPM

just got the digi tacho on, at 110kph its sitting at 5800rpm, sounds very comfortable for it too. well pleased. front end looks hell tidy now with clipons, braided steel brake line, digi speedo, and built the alarm LED flasher into the digi so it looks like a factory job. its like riding a brand new bike!

Sorry to be a pain- how do I view the parts manual? It says I don't have the right permissions...

Love the work you guys are doing on your SRVs.
