What ever happened to CXrancher??

PostAuthor: drainplug » Sat Feb 09, 2019 12:03 pm

I didn't know where to put this but I haven't heard anything from him in a long time. I sent him a PM a couple months ago but nothing. He was dealing with some pretty serious medical issues. He had plans to ride thru my area a couple years ago but wasn't able to make it.
I'm just wondering if anybody else has heard from him.

Although I can’t confirm it, I believe he has passed away.

The last I heard from him he was denied the stem cell transplant because his leukemia came back more than they liked. A few more spots appeared on his lungs and it was thought that if the stem cell transplant was successful, he would relapse in about a year. That was in November of 2017.

He made two posts after that, the last in December 2017, neither one addressed his health.

Couple more members, who use to post quite abit, haven't been heard of, either. One just south of me. Coarse, can't remember the name atm.

Oh-Yea...'landcrab' was who I was thinking of...was fairly active here, while back ago.

Oh yea..That "Crazy Russian" seems MIA. Haven't heard a peep since he lost his chain in Mexico.

Anymore news on CXrancher? Surely Matt or someone got some recent info.

Unless he has contacted someone personally, the info I posted above is some of his last post to us Mods in November 2017. He kept us informed of his progress, or lack of, through an area that only Mods and Admins are privy too.

I have had other members contact me asking about him and other than a PM to another member that I am aware of, that is the last of his updates.

I’m afraid that Matt doesn’t keep up with the status of his Moderators. If he was, we would know about grazingazer, he’s been gone from the forum for four years this month. Given his age and health concerns, that’s another that I don’t expect to hear from.

The same goes for other Mods that are MIA, such as 48vintage, bykermom, anaman51, geo, yamaguzzi, and many others.

IIRC - GG went silent soon after he relocated shortly after his misses passed.

I'm sorry I never got to meet him, he tried for 2 years to make it here. He wanted to make it out to Sequoia Forest around the area I used to work.
He did make it to south of my place where he lost his lap top. I was driving thru that area and heard an ad on the radio about that laptop!

Guess I'm feeling nostalgic

it's spring fever / cabin fever. we need some nice riding weather to dedicate a tour to our advance-riders. [and to shake the 'blues']
