That's why I live in the "low-lands" --- it's 89F and sunny outside, calm winds, humidity ~normal (~57%)
no majestic vistas, but I can still ride to the corner store in my shirt-sleeves.

Yea..but it'll be 70° Weds. And besides..when you're sweltering in 110°+, I can jump on the bike, go bout 10miles out and be in 20° cooler climate.

Oh..thanks for moving to correct forum..forgot bout this one.

envy that, and you don't have to deal with any humidity either [which I suppose could be both a blessing and a curse]

we're getting your cold snap - low is in 50s but High back near 90 by Friday

Best riding time of the year IMO. My daughter helped me put the gardens to bed, the garage is cleaned, honey do's checked off and temps in the low 60's for the weekend promise for good rides. Sand trucks will be out soon enough setting their motorcycle traps but until then ...
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Sure is...But...only when there's not 2" of slush. Rather ride on solid ice than slush. And...that's not counting all the crazy (outta-staters) 4-wheelers. Funniest I've ever encountered on ice roads was back in the day, delivering Christmas toys for Tots. Small group, but was kinda comical seeing 12-15 bikes going every which-way coming to a stop at someone's home. Hell, most of the time, it was easier riding in that crap than walking to the door. Cuz, you're loaded with gifts and wearing full Santa garb. :): But the look on those children's faces made it all worth while. Thank gawd it was in the smaller towns.
