Replacing wiring harnes, switchgear, and ign. switch

PostAuthor: pantah » Sat Mar 02, 2019 3:22 pm

Original harness burned up. Need photos of loom placement routing, and what connectors go where, including switchgear and ign. switch. Also seems to be two types of ign. switch connectors. Need to order correct one. 2008 model.

2008 model of what? I only know you're talk'n bout a 250 (I think), by looking at your previous posts. Lotta people won't take the time to do this, and your question may just get passed up. Add type of bike to your profile, so it just takes a quick glance to know what you're talking about.

The harness is for a 2008 xv250. Main question: are there two types of ignition switch connectors so I can order the correct ignition switch (which also burned up). By the way, the bike is a Lifan Lf250, which is identical to a Yamaha, except for the wiring and chain and sprockets (and minor trim stuff). I am in Central America, so getting parts is kind of a *****.

I’ve moved this thread to the proper section.

Please add your location to your profile so no one has to ask in the future. With members all over the globe, some info is geographically specific.

Add your location at this link -----> ucp.php?i=264

Please add your year and model of motorcycle to your profile as well. It may be similar to an XV250 VIrago, but it is not, so where you post your questions are important.
