giday polo 34 , very interesting bike ,close to my kaisar v 250 lifan motor ,2009 lowrider copy???( funny how many parts have HD part numbers)What interests me is the EFI set up mentioned in your post, this has been on my mind ever since i got the bike as i consider the lifan/virago 250 fuel system and "mickey rooney"(mikuni) carb intruments of the devil.could you post some close up photos of the EFI set up please as believe other VTF posters would be interested in a conversion regards Ricky.

rims are almost closed as you see, so i am not sure if they have advantages on windy roads

the rims you have are what is fitted to my bike, Also i had a 2001 dyna new in aus with those 16" solids. Absolutely dangerous at speed from cross winds and passing cars opposite direction. If a large truck was heading your way, off the gas and wait for the blast of air.HD australia reported this to millwarkie but like all manufactures denied any problem.

I replaced my tyres with michelin city grip as:
I bought 120 80 16 instead of 110 90 16 for the front one, 140 70 16 instead of 120 90 16 for the rear one.
Result is perfect, I have no problem with the wind now ...

hello polo34!

The next week I´m going to acquire a motorcycle dorado 250 efi, I want to know your experiences like the importance of change the rims (bad experience with the others ones), max speed, and the modification with the engine and transmission gear system you have done.

greetings

Wow, all that is propelled by 250cc of engine?

Not 1250cc?

OK....

I like the overall look. Retro Oldschool.

I am very sorry for my late replay. I changed its tyres with Michelin, we put 120 80 16 for the front side intead of 110 90 16, 140 70 16 for the rear side intead of 120 90 16, now there is no problem with the wind or road, it goes like a tank :)
