Reason: Moved from 920R/TR1 to Items 4 Sale
If it's not from Texas, does it really matter?

Don't think any such item exists. At least I never saw one. Check Memphis Shades or National Cycle for universal shields. Gustafson's Plastics in St. Augustine,
FL can probably custom make one for you.

Think ejunker was selling not looking for. But none the less..always thought combining "sport" with "touring"..odd. As in sport being small(ish), unobtrusive..for some spirited canyon knee dragg'n. Touring..pretty much equates to "protection".
What I'd call a touring fairing:

To me..more "Sports type":
Sports Fairing.PNG

Probly shouldn't even be yakk'n in here, since it's the "for sale" section. Guess I'm alittle bored and getting ready to scoop the snow..oh joy :bg:

The fairing was made by Italoni in the mid ‘80’s for the TR1. No reason it wouldn’t fit a Virago as well. It’s proportions are like a ‘60’s/‘70’s Dunstall scaled up 20%. Doesn’t require clip-ons, accommodates superbike bars. Windshield is tall enough, you don’t need to tuck in.

Fairing is in very good condition. Shield has a small crack (2 1/2”) at bottom front, repairable.

The buyer of my two 920R’s is the CSRA racer whose dad built Lurch, the most successful privateer 920R in the AMA Big Twin series. He didn’t want the fairing or several othe pieces I still have. We can expect to see a racing 920R showing off again as a result, though.

Any way, sport touring is the best I know to describe something quite a bit more comfortable than a cafe wannabe, and not the size and aerodynamics of a barn door. So, text 2146162882 if you’re interested.
