82 xv750 m-unit blue wiring

PostAuthor: room14baz » Fri Feb 08, 2019 6:45 pm

This is my first post on the viragotechforum, so thanks for stopping by to see what’s going on in my head! I’ve been working on my xv750 cafe racer project on and off for the past 9 months or so. I’ve basically got all the physical stuff sorted out- built a new subframe, gsxr 1000 k1 front end swap, r1 rear shock fitted and custom cnc parts to make it fit! All that’s left is sorting out the exhaust, making the seat cowl and finishing up the wiring!

So I bought an m-unit blue as I saw them online and really liked the fact that it would update the electrical system of my 37 year old bike, which I used as my daily since I bought it a couple of years back, it had the habit of stopping in heavy rain though and the last time it did was in the middle of a busy intersection, pretty scary.

So to get to the point of my post. I don’t know where to start with the wiring, does anyone have a wiring diagram that could help me out? I’m happy to start from scratch as I’ve got some time in hand.

Thanks
Baz
