Bare bones wiring harness

PostAuthor: roman41461 » Tue Jul 10, 2018 7:53 am

I have a 93 Xv750. Something is wrong with the charging system because with the bike idling, it gets 13.5 v on the battery. When I rev it however, the voltage stays the same. I installed a new stator, rectifier, and pick up coil and grounded the rectifier straight to the negative battery terminal. Still 13.5 volts. So I was curious if this basic wiring diagram I found online would work with my bike. Also when I kill the bike and take the key out, the bike will stay running. Usually I have to choke it or give it throttle so it can stall itself out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Image

no time to do it right..always enough time to do it twice.

If it went together easy... you forgot something.
