Vacuum/carb hoses 95 xv1100The previous owner removed the stock air filters and reserve tank and put pods. He also put holes in the intake hoses and installed pcv valces.
All the small vacuum/carb hoses have been removed. Do I need any of these small hoses or can I leave them off? Do I need the pcv valves in the intake? Thanks, Gerry
![]() Re: Vacuum/carb hoses 95 xv1100Howdy. Welcome to VTF.
1100 does not have a vacuum actuated petcock [has a fuel pump] so the only vac line you need is one from manifold to the pressure sensor [little black plastic box on top of the coils] post pics of the "pcv valves". is the AIS/MCV still there? [left side 'bug-eye'] "Over the Mountains of the Moon,

Re: Vacuum/carb hoses 95 xv1100
Yea..please do. Curious if the exposed end of this pvc valve is plugged into carb joints. Would be the only thing I could think of. Sounds like the PO tried to eliminate a smoker of some sort. Or some fancy way of injecting a NOS system. lol

![]() Re: Vacuum/carb hoses 95 xv1100As Mark said, the only vacuum line you need on the 1100 is the one to the Pressure Sensor. The PS controls ignition timing advance.
