Sprockets/chain calculation help needed + bonus project pics

I guess it just needs some engine tweaking to give it more whip. Sould maybe shave the heads a little but not too much as it is aircooled... Wonder how much i can shave to stay in he safe zone and not destroy the already problematic starters. Mine is new but i would like to keep it in working condition hehe. Saw a few threads about starter problems and the Dr.Virago shim kit could help
