Custom side covers and mounts finally done

PostAuthor: tomshell » Thu Feb 23, 2012 9:57 pm

Made out of perforated stainless I had laying about. Pretty beefy stuff for sure.I originally bought a sheet for a brewery I built years ago......Anyways, mounts are just a piece of round stock with a nut on the end welded to the frame. I still need to touch up the frame paint. And the wheels need to be something besides yamaha gold? Damn ugly wheels for sure. Also, some black saddlebags, as my wife says the brown doesn't work. The next few weeks will be detail stuff. Has anyone done a custom light panel? I want to get rid of tach as well, and center the speedo. Latest pics are toward the end..
