So much interesting info here. I was considering a 2 - 2 exhaust a-la Ducati but the 2 - 1 - 2 looks great...

How to convert one of those generic Suzuki Samurai, Swift (Geo Metro) starter solenoids for use on a XV1000/1100.

All you need is a bit of M4 all-thread and a nut. Now if you're really fancy, you could drill and tap a hole on the other side and affix it to the block like a stock solenoid, but I never found that to be necessary in the past. Also these solenoids seem to be better made than the caltric-ones for XVs, one of which has just failed again and caused this swap.(My loss, your gain, this time I didn't forget to take pictures. :cl: ) - Nanno's accumulated findings (and blatant show-off) - infos on my TR1's, my performance and reliability mods and a bit of show-casing of the stainless steel exhausts I build
