Any good solutions for footrest hangers?

PostAuthor: briandk » Mon Mar 12, 2018 5:24 am

I'm looking for some ideas for less chunky and better looking footrest hangers/brackets than the original ones, something to match a cafe style.

Anyone seen some builds with a nice result?

I've been riding with the GSXR rearsets with zero issues. Foot position is great and the stock bulky junk is gone! You might need a little practice with the reverse shift pattern but not a problem in my book. I like it!

That is indeed a pretty cool solution. I'll have to see if it'll fit on my chain drive TR1.

Thanks!

I think the bolts on the engine and frame are the same, that only the foot hanger brackets differ between the TR1 and Virago. Then again, I could be mistaken...
