Rear Wheel Compatibility

PostAuthor: k.huang402 » Sat Jun 22, 2019 6:23 pm

Hey guys,

I realized that my 83 xv920 that I purchased came with a 96 xv750 rear wheel. My bike hasn't been fully operational so I can't say if I can see or hear any issues with it thus far. I just want to make sure if the xv750 rear wheel is compatible with my xv920. If it is not, is there anything I would need to make it compatible? I like the 5 spoke of the xv750 wheel and it would match the 5 spoke of my 06 R1 front end conversion so if I could make it work on the xv920 rear swingarm that would be ideal.

It should bolt in, but may require that the differential be mounted to the wheel to get it all inside the swing arm. It will be offset to the right 12 to 13mm.
